NWP Core Values

NWP Core Values

● Teachers of writing must write.
● Professional development programs provide opportunities for collective and systematic examination of research and practice.
● Teachers are the agents of reform.
● Universities and schools are ideal partners for investing together in that reform.
● There is no single right approach to teaching writing, and a research-informed community of practice is best positioned to develop a comprehensive writing program and engage individual practice within it.
